Homeschool Co-Op
The Music Lab
Our Homeschool Music Lab is a 16-week program designed for children ages 5–10, meeting each Wednesday for an engaging two-hour class filled with music, creativity, and collaborative learning. Tuition for the full 16-week session is $450. For families with older children, we are also happy to offer study hall space for students over age 10. A limited number of rooms will be available each week through advance registration, allowing older siblings to work quietly while younger students participate in the Music Lab. Please note that study hall rooms are not supervised, and a parent or guardian must remain with children using these spaces.

What We’ll Learn in Music

Rhythm — Develop a strong sense of beat, pulse, and rhythmic patterns through movement, listening, and music-making.

Pitch — Explore high and low sounds, melodic patterns, and how notes move to create melodies.

Timbre — Discover the different colors and qualities of sound through voices, instruments, and listening activities.

Form — Learn how music is organized by recognizing repetition, contrast, phrases, and musical sections.

Expression — Explore dynamics, tempo, articulation, and other musical choices that help us communicate feeling and character.

Vocabulary — Build an age-appropriate musical vocabulary and learn the language musicians use to understand and describe music.

Learning Music Together
Our Homeschool Music Lab combines the joy and community of group music-making with the quality of a conservatory education. Students don’t just experience music—they learn how it works, develop real musical skills, and begin building a foundation that can grow with them for years to come.
